Bad Times is the story of a lifestyle and fashion magazine which is run by Mrs Khan, who has opened up the magazine because she wants to be an influential person in the elite social circles. JJ (Javed Jhagra) heads the creative side of the magazine who faces a tough competition from Nazir Warraich, who is the marketing team head. Saima is a column writer who is sick of JJ and Waraich and Mrs Khan's sifarishi column about her own life. There is another character Aaliya who is a US return pretty girl and JJ and Waraich are always trying to hit on her. .
